We are now 10 days underway. Time for some washing and recalibrating. Also, we need to recharge our Bluetti powerbank. And reorganise all our audiovisual.

Besides, we want to see the sea, one of the main reasons to visit these places. The other is off course the temperature. And that is getting better by the hour. The further we descent south, the more sunny it gets.

We have found some spots that look promising. Drove all the way to the coast only to discover the Camping we wanted to visit was still closed. We could have known, since the information we saw was not up to date. Bad luck.

Camping Le Mas on the Cote 'd Azur was closed. Soo close... but no cigar!

Camping Neptune

1 hour back further up the road we found another camping that was open. Situated on the inland sea Étang de berre.

Inland Sea Étang de berre.

Camping Neptune. Reasonably well kept places, but obviously a hideout for semilegal longstay. Crowded with tiny houses that are permanently inhabited. You can tell this if you know how to read the signs. Well kept gardens, too much unorganised stuff lying around. Also quite a number of Polish workers occupy the houses. The leave early around seven and return after work around five. We park at a reasonably private plot overlooking the inland sea.
